Kathy, Welcome to Japan!

Mrs. Kathy Schilmoeller also has an activity as a member of CISV(Children's
International Summer Villages).
She visited Japan as a leader of the delegation from Maine U.S. this summer.
In an interval of her busy schedule, she came to our house and stayed with us! Welcome to Japan
and welcome to our house all the way from far away.
We went to watch fireworks at Edogawa river.
Maki burst into tears as soon as seeing Kathy. Because it was first time for
her to see a foreign people in face, and she was scared for the different
color of eyes and face. When Kathy talked to Maki, Maki got panicked.
Kathy seemed so sad.
But at this time Maki got familiar with Kathy. What a change!
She loves Kathy so much now.
We were afraid if we could communicate well. But thanks to Kathy's help we
could communicate well. Because Kathy has ever lived in Japan several years
and knew some of Japanese words.
A souvenir picture in front of our apartment house next morning. We hope
she could sleep well last night.
Kathy is interested in ORIGAMI, a kind of japanese papercraft, so we went
to a bookstore to find books concerned to ORIGAMI.
We could find Kathy's favorite writer Tomoko Fuse's writings. Kathy said
'It's just like a Christmas for me!'.
It looked so hard for her to diside which one to buy.
