	9'	0-1	Bacary Sagna bursts down the right side of the area before cutting back a low cross which Emmanuel Adebayor slots into the goal, albeit with the help of a deflection which lifted the ball over Hart. The Togolese striker stroked his 20th goal of the season.
	26'	0-2	Gael Clichy floats a sublime cross into the box from the left which Adebayor heads down to Eduardo, who cushions the ball with his chest before swivelling and blasting his shot past Hart. The sensational team goal is the Croatian's 12th one of the season.
Clichy makes a terrible mistake in his own box to allow Corluka to steal the ball before squaring a short low pass to Fernandes who slots his shot past Lehmann into the net.	28'	1-2

A long ball is played forward for Petrov who has the pace to get past the Arsenal defence but the offside flag is raised against Vassell who was not really involved in the attack. Petrov argues and then gets booked.	62'

	89'	1-3	It's all over now as Arsenal attack into space down the right with Hleb who then finds Fabregas inside the box and the midfielder squares it for Adebayor. The Togolese striker calmly strokes 21th goal of the season.

The final whistle is blown and Arsenal have claimed a well-deserved 3-1 triumph over Manchester City to end the hosts' unbeaten league record at Eastlands this season. いい試合だったけど勝ちたかった…

大敗したユナイテッド戦からの変更は両サイドバックとアデバの復帰。ユナイテッド戦の後半早々に退場したエブエはバーミンガム戦から三試合出場停止になるので、この試合は死ぬ気で頑張っていただきたいところ。システムは4−4−2と表記されていたけど最初から4−5−1。ロシツキがいれば左サイドに入れられるんだけど負傷中なので今回もエドゥアルド。ミランのゴールキーパーは五年間公式戦出場のないフィオーリが出ると言われていたけど、カラッチの指の怪我は問題なしということで結局カラッチ。他はロナウドがいないだけでベストメンバーと言っていいだろう。システムはミラン独特のクリスマスツリー型4−3−2−1。ワントップはジラ師匠でもインザーギでもなくパトだった。[詳細]

決勝ラウンド一回戦雑感

リバプール 2-0 インテル

最初からリバプールが勝つと思ってました。藍子師匠でなく。ほんとに。ベニテスは資料がたくさんある競合相手だと強い。資料なしの下部クラブとかだと全然ダメ。わけわからん監督だ。インテルは消極的すぎたような。第一戦とはいえアウェイゴール取りに行ったほうがリバプールは嫌だっただろう。マテラッツィが退場した後はしょうがないけどさ。それまでも攻める気がぜんぜんなかったのが悔やまれる。ここ二年間アウェイゴール数で負けてるわけだし、マンチョは何を考えてたのか。

オリンピアコス 0-0 チェルシー

チェルシー思惑通りのアウェイで引き分け…と思いきや途中で三人同時交代とかしてんのよね。点取る気だったのだろうか。

リヨン 1-1 マンチェスター・U

またテベスの同点ゴールか。リヨンのホームながら内容はマンUのほうが上。もう少し繋げて支配できると思ったんだがなあ。ベンゼマのスーパー個人技は凄いんだけどもう少しチームとして何とかしないとオールドトラッフォードでは虐殺される危険あり。ユベントスで干物になってるティアゴを呼び戻したい。ジュニーニョのFKにすべてを賭けるためにファウルゲッターがいればいいんだが。ベン・アルファが入ったあとのカウンターを一つでもものにしてれば。ゴブとクレルクが献身的であった。

セルティック 2-3 バルセロナ

このスコアはまさに奇跡。あれだけ一方的な展開でセルティックはよく２点とった。マモノの力は凄い。しかし自分たちの守備にもマモノがいた。高い位置からプレスが来たときにミスしすぎ。リーグ戦ではそういうプレスに晒されることがないから慣れていないんだろうけど、それにしても酷すぎた。あれだけ支配されたにも関わらず、同点・逆転ゴールはどっちも自分たちのミスからだから尚更悔やまれる。ネコムラさんは残念ながら完全に空気だった。あれだけ守備に追われていたら何もできないのはしょうがないが。プレスを受けてもフレブのようにキープできたらなあ。ボールロストが怖いからすぐに離したい→味方の押し上げが遅い→バックパスの連続の悪循環。アビダルはやりたい放題であった。第二戦でセルティックがひっくり返す可能性はゼロ。ハートソン擁してのロングボール大作戦ができればまさかの展開がないわけではないんだが。ヘッセリンクはハートソンに比べると適当なロングボールに競り合う意識が少ないような。

どれだけトドメを刺す機会フイにしてんだよ！くそったれ！フレブはシュート撃てよ！リードすると途端にシュートに興味なくすのやめろ！ゴールまで数メートルで横パスするのはいいかげんにしろ！アデバにマークついてるじゃねえか！しかし今日いちばんのバカはもちろんクリシだ！90分間最高のプレイしていようが残り10秒の自陣エリア内でボールから目を離す奴があるか！小学生でもそんなことしねーぞ！今週の給料はエドゥアルドに全部渡せ！バカヤロウ！Skyの採点にはマーティン・テイラー共々１点で投票してきた！

ちなみにエドゥアルドは間違いなく重傷！今シーズンどころか来シーズンに間に合うのか疑問だ！ユーロも間違いなく無理！リプレイが出なかったはグロすぎるからだ！CSI：NYなみのショッキング映像だったんだろう！しかし、味方がそんな重傷を負ってるのになぜ気を抜くのかか？なぜベストを尽くさないのか？3点目とかそういう問題ではなく、5点でも10点でも取れるだけ取ってバーミンガムを降格させる気で戦ってほしかったんだよ！もう寝る！新城頑張れ！期待してないけど！

	8'		Bendtner replaces (Eduardo). The Croatian was clearly in distress and replays of the incident were not being shown on live television because of the apparent seriousness of the injury.

Birmingham have a free kick just outside the box after Flamini brings down James McFadden. After just a two-step run up, McFadden curls the ball over the wall and into the top corner of the net. A fabulous goal against the run of play and now Birmingham have something to cling on to.	28'	1-0
	50'	1-1	The corner found its way to Hleb, who drilled another shot at goal which Taylor had to tip over the bar. The Corner is delivered into the box and Taylor drops an attempted catch under pressure from Adebayor and it falls for Walcott who stabs it into the net for his 4th goal of the season.
	55'	1-2	Walcott races forward with the ball gets away from Ridgewell before slamming a low left-foot shot past Taylor into the corner of the net. The young striker gives Arsenal the lead for his 5th goal of the season.

Birmingham have won a last-gasp penalty as Parnaby is brought to ground by a clumsy challenge from Clichy. What drama here at the death. William Gallas is fuming and storms off to the other end of the pitch. James McFadden smashes his shot into the net and 10-man Birmingham have grabbed an unlikely equaliser. Arsenal have only themselves to blame.	90+5'	2-2	Gallas is booked for unsporting behaviour.
The final whistle is blown and Birmingham, who played virtually all the match with just ten men, have snatched a point at the death thanks to James McFadden's second of the game. Arsenal look absolutely dejected with Gallas sat alone on the pitch. He should be angry with his side because they had plenty of opportunities to kill this game off but they spurned them and paid the ultimate price.	90+5'	2-2

エドゥアルドの負傷は左足腓骨の開放骨折で、骨が皮膚を突き破るほどの重傷でした。リプレイを放送しなかったのはあまりにショッキングな映像だったのでスカイ・スポーツが配慮したためだそうです。開放骨折なのでその場で菌に感染しないよう処置していたのであれほど長く動かせなかったんでしょう。エドゥアルドはバーミンガムの病院ですでに手術を受け、幸いなことに成功した模様。同じような骨折をしたシセの例を考えると、エドゥアルドの復帰は早くて年末年始になるかと。詳しくはクロアチア・サッカーニュースに載っています。時期はともかく今はエドゥアルドが復帰できるように祈りたい。

バーミンガムに恨みはないけど

マクリーシュがテイラーを擁護したりかばったりするのは監督だから仕方ないのだけど、「悪気はなかった、狙ったわけじゃない」というのはどうしても信じられんのです。一発ガツンと当たってビビらせてやろうという気持ちでタックルにいったんだろうけど、こんな風に上から踏みつけるような真似をしなくたっていいじゃないか。足元掬うぐらいに留めてくれよ。悪いのはテイラーだし、バーミンガムは過去にさかのぼってもクリーンだった記憶があるので、チーム自体には何の恨みもない。しかし感情的には、これまで親密にやりとりしてた選手のローンなどは今後いっさいやらないでほしい。そしてバーミンガムが降格することを願ってしまう。来週はスパーズ戦らしいんだけどスパーズを応援してしまう。やんぬるかな。

スティーブン・ケリーとかアラン・ハンセンの信じがたいコメントを読むと腹が立ってしかたがない。

エドゥアルド・ダ・シウバ：「この怪我を克服すると決意している」

あのときのことはよく覚えていないし、テレビや新聞で思い出したくもない。覚えているのは、倒れているときに足があらぬ方向に曲がっているのが見えたことだけだ。あとは何も覚えていない。不幸な出来事だったけど、フットボールの世界ではああいうこともある。

I don't remember the incident very well and it is not something that I want to see again on television or in the newspapers. All I remember is that when I fell, I looked down at my foot and it had turned the other way. The rest is just a blank. It was an unfortunate situation but these things can happen in football.

今はこの怪我がどれほど長引くのかとか、動けるようになるのはいつなのかはわからない。シーズンの残りをアーセナルのためにプレイすること、夏のユーロ2008には出ることができないってことはわかっているけどね。でも、それは今の私が心配することではない。できるだけ早く復帰することだけに意識は集中しているし、それを心に堅く誓っている。絶対にこの怪我から立ち直ると決めたんだ。

I am unsure at the moment of the extent of the injury and how long I will be out of action for but I know that I won't be able to play for Arsenal for the rest of the season or be ready in time for the Euros this summer. But I'm not worried about that. My concentration and determination is on making as quick a recovery as possible. I am determined to overcome this injury.

これまでも優勝したいと思っていたけれど、今はエドゥアルドのためにもという気持ちを皆が持っている。これからかなりの期間、彼とは一緒にいられないだろう。それだからこそ彼のためにもタイトルを獲りたいんだ。僕らはまだ３ポイントリードして首位にいる。バーミンガム戦は勝つチャンスがあったから、ああいう風に引き分けてしまった残念だ。ショックから立ち直って本来の力を発揮できたのが、あの試合で唯一良かったところだよ。

We wanted to win the title before but now we want to win it also for him. He is not going to be with us for a long time, so of course we want to win it for him. We are still three points clear at the top but the way we have only drawn is going to be disappointing because there was an opportunity to win this game. We came back, we showed great character and I think that was the only positive thing from the game.

タックルそのものは見ていなかった。ただ、その後の結果を見たからね。ひどいタックルだったのは理解できた。あのとき見たことはうまく表現できないんだ。試合中にふっきるのは大変だったよ、当たり前だけどね。チームに入る前から彼とは友人だった。動揺したのは事実だけど、そのせいで失点したと言うつもりはない。

I genuinely didn't see the tackle. But I could see it was bad because I saw the result. I have no words to describe what I saw. Yes, of course, it was difficult to get over in the game. He is a friend before he is a partner in the team. It upsets you but we're not going to say we conceded the goal because of that.

ハーフタイムのドレッシングルームでは皆が「このまま終わらすわけにはいかない」と言ったんだ。僕らはタイトルを獲りたいし、あの試合にも勝ちたかった。早々に一点を返して、二点目もそう時間はかからなかった。トドメをさしておくべきだったと思う。僕らにとっては悪い結果だ。試合が終わる30秒前に失点したのだからね。ペナルティがなかったのは明らかだ。ビデオで見返してさらに腹がたったよ。あんな結果に終わるような試合じゃなかったんだ。

We all said in the dressing room at half-time that we had to react. We want to win the title and we wanted to win this game. We came back we scored the first one very quickly and the second just behind. I think we should have killed the game. So, yes, we were very disappointed because it is a bad result for us, and especially when we conceded the goal 30 seconds before the end of the game. It is clear there was no penalty. We checked on the video so it is very frustrating. But I really don't think we deserved this result.
