It is a requirement of the Journal that each new manuscript must be accompanied by a statement indicating that this manuscript has not been nor will be published in whole or in part by any other journaI . Furthermore, the Authors must verify that no part of the manuscript is under consideration for publication elsewhere and will not be submitted elsewhere if accepted by the **** Journal of **** and not before a decision has been reached by the Editiorial Board. In addition, Authors must make a declaration of assigmnent of copyright to the *** **loqical Society.

Manuscripts will not be published without such affirmations. See "Instructions to Authors" (**. J. ***. 1991, I02, pp. 553-561) .

Unfortunately however this statement was incom lete. It is essential that each Author should comply with these requirements by completion and returning this form to us as soon as possible.
