Dear ***,

I Iooked over the paper and found a few changes and corrections which I would recommend. Then I showed the paper to a lady with whom I work. Ms. Faith Lagay. She is a professional English Grammar Teacher and Writer. She has "polished" scientific papers for many medical professional doctors and researchers. She had many suggestions to make and I send you the copy with her notations.

She explained to me that she tried to make the paper more readable and more understandable. She tried, she said, to make it very clear and precise so that anyone with a grasp of English would be able to read it and appreciate the scientific significance.

She apologises to you through me if you think she was too critical. She was not trying to be excessively discriminating.

I was not able to use the floppy disc because we only have IBM compatible computers, and unless I delayed further, I could not find the proper computer. I could have transferred it if I had taken more time.

My warm regards to your colleagues, my friends, your family.

Sincerely, your friend in ***,
