The *** Society requires that authors submitting articles to its journals must be prepared to undertake:

(a) that the paper or other communication has not been published and that the author or authors will not permit its submission or publication elsewhere before it is accepted or declined by the journal to which the submission has been made, and

(b) that, if the paper or other communication is accepted for publication, the Society shall thereupon become entitled to the world copyright and translation rights therein and that the author or authors or the authorized agent of the copyright holder shall, when called upon to do so, transfer to the Society the said world copyright and translation rights.

At the discretion of the Society these conditions may be waived, and no reasonable request from an author or authors to reproduce their work elsewhere will be refused.

The attached copyright transfer form should be signed by all authors or by the authorized agent of the copyright holder and returned immediately to the Managing Editor at the address above. If the article is not accepted for publication, the transfer will become null and void.
